Welcome!

Friday, August 24th, 2007

As you can see, this is a brand new podcast for a two-year-old radio show on community radio station KSVY in Sonoma.

It’s a grand experiment, you might say, putting to test the notion that there is indeed a hidden audience that loves the show but continues to miss it when it airs. Heck, my wife can’t consistenly listen to the show and she lives in Glen Ellen, and I know the signal has real challenges reaching southern Napa County.

Wine Biz is a program that talks about (you guessed it) the wine business, focusing primarily on Northern California and especially Sonoma County. Each week, we bring you news and talk ranging from the wildly theoretical (like what’s the best winemaking technique) to the imminently practical (like what to put in your compost pile at home). The show airs Mondays from 1 to 2 P.M. Pacific Time on KSVY 91.3FM, or ksvy.org.

So, for all of you who are pining for the show, let this be your eternal DVR (or whatever they call it when you time-shift radio programs).

This is Wine Biz Radio.
