Wine Biz Radio: WBW#45 – “Old World” Riesling

Kaz and Randy do it over the phone!? Yes, indeed, the first (and hopefully) only Wine Blogging Wednesday where Kaz and Randy taste the same wine at the same time, from two different locations.

This time, it’s “Old World” Riesling, and they’ve chosen a Schloss Vollrads 2003 Rheingau Kabinett that they picked up at Taylor and Norton‘s in Sonoma. Kaz dedicates the tasting to his “Deutsch heritage”, and Randy also mentions (on the side) about the revolutionary (and French?) innovation called USB Wine.

Thanks for the podcast, guys. I agree with Kaz that there is more than just a good warm weather wine with Schloss Vollrads.

Sounds like you had as much fun with your German Riesling as I did on this Wine Blogging Wednesday!
